What must match

Between the lab's own record and the copy the store shows you (a general list; the lab publishes none that we found):

  1. lab name, and a lab web address you typed or searched yourself
  2. client (store) name
  3. compound and labeled amount
  4. batch or lot number, and the same number on your vial
  5. purity and measured amount
  6. test and report dates
  7. report number or verification code

What named sources have published, in their words. Not our findings.

  1. TrustPointe wrote in March 2025 about copies of its COAs that had been changed without its permission and passed to customers.

    It was bound to happen, but we had our first ever incident of TrustPointe COAs being falsified.

  2. TrustPointe says those copies had the QR code and verification link removed.

    But in all cases, they removed the QR Code and the link from the COAs that would allow customers to verify that the COA is legitimate.

    If you follow the link and it does not take you to the laboratory’s website (URL), it is likely falsified.
