What must match
Between the lab's own record and the copy the store shows you, as the lab describes its reports:
- client
- dates received and analyzed
- sample name
- lot number
- amount received
- method and instrument
- specification, result and pass or fail status
- certificate number and validation key
Every certificate is issued per lot and per test and carries a number and validation key, so any result can be traced to the original record.
